Must-Sees...

I have been pretty busy organizing for school the last week, so I have yet to see another film since Sherlock Holmes. BUT, by the time I get the chance a couple more will have been released - giving me a larger selection. Both The Lovely Bones and Book of Eli unspool on January 14th. Those are definitely must-sees! Trailers below....

Book of Eli

Starring veteran actor Denzel Washington and relative newcomer Mila Kunis, this film tells a post-apocalyptic tale of one man's fight to survive. Helmers Albert and Allen Hughes (aka The Hughes Brothers) are unknown, but from the trailer it seems as though he has done a great job bringing Gary Whitta's screenplay to the screen. Look for the review on this soon - Denzel is one of my favorite actors. Book of Eli will be astonishing - can't wait to see it.

The Lovely Bones

I truly think that Peter Jackson's directorial genius will enhance The Lovely Bones - along with the dazzling specials effects that have been talked about, this film will come to life. Both well-written and well-directed, The Lovely Bones will surely do well at the box office. The film is based on a book by award-winning American novelist Alice Sebold - who looks to Jackson so bring her novel to life.

"Everytime I go to the movies, it's magic, no matter what the movie's about" - Steven Spielberg
